Work Experience Opportunities
I am very keen to support people from St Helens North who are looking to gain experience in politics and public service. I've welcomed several students since being elected in July 2024 and I want to provide as many opportunities as possible.
Whether you are a school, college or university student, a young person just starting out or someone looking to change career or boost your CV, I am always happy to hear from you and explore what might be possible.
I do not believe that people should work for free so I do not offer long-term unpaid internships, and if we can agree a placement then we will gladly cover lunch and travel costs.
Please note that I only offer opportunities to people who are from or who currently live in St Helens North, and bear in mind that there is already a lot of demand for this and we sadly can't accommodate everyone - but we will do our best!
So, if you are interested in spending a day or two at Westminster or in my constituency office in Earlestown, please contact me to discuss what might be possible.
